Lake Foundry is a ferrous foundry in Canada manufacturing gray iron castings from 1/2 to 15,000 lbs. in quantities from one to 10,000 pieces.

Located in Grimsby, Ontario, Lake Foundry has gray iron casting capabilities for individual items weighing from 1/2 lb. to 15,000 lbs. per piece.

The family run company has a business history dating back to the early 1950's.

Operating out of a modern, 30,000 square foot building, the plant is located just seconds away from the major tranportation routes linking Buffalo, Hamilton and Toronto. The company currently employs about 60 highly skilled and experienced people.

Lake Foundry focuses on a specific product line which includes
gray iron castings, gear boxes, agricultural machine parts, industrial and residential pumps, as well as electric motor frames for units up to 2,000 hp.

"Over the years, we have invested millions of dollars to make the operation environmentally friendly and are proud to say that emissions from the furnace are now zero", says Mr. Verdinsek.
